About the South Lyon Student Entrepreneur Contest

This year, The Lemon Tree founded and hosted the South Lyon Student Entrepreneur Contest—and we plan to make it an annual event. In December, we put out a Call for Entries inviting students from local schools to develop and submit a product to our shop. The selected winner would be invited to sell his or her products in our store and receive 100% of the sales revenue.

We are blown away by the many smart, talented young entrepreneurs from our community who entered our contest. It was so hard to pick just one winner!

Congratulations Ashley P. this year's winner with her Surface Saver trivets. The clever girl makes them out of MDF board and uses paint, epoxy, and a little bit of magic to make them just stunning. Stop by The Lemon Tree and purchase one of these one-of-a-kind items, which are both beautiful and practical. If you don't find exactly what you like, you can custom order one in any shape, size, and color you'd like. 100% of the revenue goes directly to Ashley.
